Software Install:
Start the software from the install kit, right-click on it and choose “Run as Administrator”:
When seeing this window, you must wait for it to disappear:
The below pop-up window will appear:
Choose: “Basic Installation”
Choose: “Automatic Discovery”
Choose: “Confirm”:
Other pop-up windows will appear, please wait until they disappear, then choose: “EXIT NOW”

Register the HP Device Connect Software:
After completing the software installation, double click the blue icon in the system tray near the system clock:
If this icon is not there, click the shortcut which should be on the desktop, looking like this:
From the DC console, check in the 2nd tab if both Services are “Running”
Register the software with the received codes from the email from HP:
• “Customer ID”
• “Registration Key”
• The “Instance Name” field is a custom free field for reference (For Example: Server name, City name, etc.)
After this is finished, please send screenshots of the registration page and status page to ourselves (Paragon Customer Communications) so that we can speak with HP and check for a response.
